just got back from a 19.2k afternoon run in the cold sunny wind. at least it's not raining or snowing. much like yesterday, i took a few short breaks to throw bread at the duckies. wanted to run further but felt a little pain and swelling in my injured area, so i decided to walk the rest in. i'm fine now and feeling good. i think the past week has really been good as i have started to build back some strength and endurance after being essentially out of commission for a few weeks there. the wound appears to be closed up now. no blood or puss all day.
i ran almost the same course as yesterday but i took the trail instead of the roads to get down to the lake. always fun to see the duckies and the infamous Barry the Goose down at Quidi Vidi Lake.
back home for a rest now but may go back out there tonight. watching some NFL football right now. hard to believe all favourites have lost so far!
