well actually, it was a cold windy and snowy day, but that didn't stop me from having 3 separate runs, totaling 23.8k. i also had a sluggish 71 minute 3k swim in the pool. it's great that i am feeling good enough to have back to back strong days! hoping for a good weekend of running and swimming too. gotta keep the momentum going!
well, once again, our lovely city council has decided not to budget for shoveling snow off sidewalks. i have had some terrifying experiences running right on the streets, which is the only place to run in the city in the winter. angry residents are starting to make some noise about this issue. a recent article in the Scope about the topic has lead so several comments.
