a very hilly 22.3k today with a 10 pound back pack, as i ran straight from work to the doctor, to home. i went at a very slow pace (took me more than 3 hours). but overall, i was pleased that i was able to complete this run as per my game plan. doctor visit went fairly well. after a great lat april and early may, i am back to struggling with depression, energy, and sleeping, but we feel the meds i am on are helping, and that some external factors (such as life challenges) have lead to this recent blip. i am also going to take a closer look at some nutrition plans and see if i can find a way to satisfy my hunger, take in the carbs, protein and sugars i need to remain active, yet find a way to lose weight. should be a fun challenge..
no marathon for me this weekend, but i will likely have some light long runs. after 5 in 34 days, i really need to focus on some recovery scheduling, as i can clearly feel the wear and tear..
