McCreath cancels all Political Memberships 2012/07/21

As a follow up to my previous posting, I have decided to cancel all my political party memberships so I can become a completely neutral free agent of sorts.  As someone who generally fights for basic needs such as human rights and health care, this is not something that should be a political issue anyway. My goal is to take steps to work with all political parties to ensure that the best interests of myself and others like me, are met.

I try to think beyond politics. I try not to take sides. But we all need support. Need to feel someone has our best interest. Then theres the social aspect.
But mostly I feel lost sometimes. I mean I totally get how to fit in but I insist on doing things my way. maybe I'm just eccentric.
Either way, I'm quite happy but just lost in a way where I feel separated from the majority.
Although I am definitely unique physically, I am speaking metaphysically ( that's just the closest word at the moment )
But what does this have to do with politics...
Being represented...
Someone has your best interest...
If politicians had our best interest they'd knock down any walls or divisions and say lets forget about all of this and move on.
If we all thought beyond the walls, labels divisions, bs, genres...
Maybe we'd pick each other up out of this deficit that we have emotionally/financiallu watched each other fall into.
But then theres the almighty dollar. This figure controls everyone. If you could look God in the eyes you would see $ $.
we are particals, just specs
Not trying to be deep here. Just realistic.
I spend so much time thinking beyond myself. Wondering why people think and act the way they do.
This makes me my biggest obstacle. Putting myself in a position to ask who am I to do or want this. How can I deserve such things. I am left feeling very selfish in our man made material universe.
Left feeling I'm too self absorbed. All I wanna do is have fun. Buy clothing and useless electronics. drink alcohol and dance my butt off. Feeling blessed to have every second weekend off and because of ten hour shifts I'm lucky to only work 4 days a week.
We have all helped build this society. We have all stood in line. Our perception is so skewed. narrowly at that.
