Transgender Activist from Newfoundland to visit Kitchener Pride Week!

The East Coast Trans Alliance is a grassroots organization comprised of transgender activists from Canada's four eastern-most provinces, NL, NB, NS, and PEI. To commemorate the 5th anniversary of the East Coast Trans Alliance, co-founders and Head of Corporate Management, Jennifer McCreath of Newfoundland, will be doing a series of social networking events all over the country, in attempt to create a nation-wide network of trans activists. Accompanying Jennifer on the Southwest Ontario leg of the tour will be co-founder Trina Conrad, originally from Nova Scotia (but now living in Toronto), and Jake Foley, originally from Brigus, Newfoundland (but now living in Brampton).

Jennifer, Trina and Jake will be having brunch with a group of local Kitchener/Waterloo trans community members Wednesday at 10 am at Country Boy, then they will be holding a meet n greet and trans flag-waving event, at 12 noon, at Kitchener City Hall. All are welcome to attend; Facebook event link attached:
