He gave them a extra bottle. <br /><br />Not surprisingly, there were no reports of beer running out. <br /><br />Ottawa Bluesfest, a comparable size event, just wrapped and although bags were checked, water could be brought in. Plus people could leave and re-enter whenever they pleased. <br /><br />It boils down to 3 things:<br />1. Greed - $4 a bottle is a total money grab<br />2. Laziness - take the time to check bags. Other venues do it. <br />3. Incompetence - some or all of the organizing committee have zero common sense. <br /><br />There's at least one woman who is looking into filing a lawsuit. Good for her.
